Fall and Horses

Mom and I had a chance to go on a wonderful hike on our own, so pretty! Love fall!

 Every day for the last while I have this conversation with Sophie:

"Mom, can we buy a horse today?"

No

Can we ride a horse today?

No

Can we pet a horse today?

No

Can we play family?

Yes

OK, I'm getting married and having a baby:)

I think I'll choose horses for now:) Here this little gal is starting riding lessons! Future Rodeo Queen?

 Here she is leading Chester, the pony, after she caught him herself

 Brushing him down, then saddling and bridling him

"Mom, I need to learn number 6" (that is his bridle number which she needs to find herself)

 Cinching up the saddle all by herself

 Big girl leading him around to go get her helmet

 Afterwards we had some carrots for Chester, but he wasn't allowed to have them, so we found another horse that could, he was so slobbery:) Of course, Sophie asked if she could eat the carrots instead, right in front of Chester:)
