We also decided to go up for a day trip to Mia Shalom - love that place:)

 

Annabelle’s Birthday

For Annabelle's 10th Birthday she planned an amazing Harry Potter Birthday Party!

It was so fun making this a reality!

We made a Book of Monsters Cake and Polyjuice Potion to Drink

We started out by making amazing wands (on a side note I think Jack's was the best, instead of just a Phoenix Feather he found a whole Phoenix to put on it:) Then we got placed in houses and started our classes.

We started with Charms, breaking into Gringotts Bank with Alahomora and making balloons float with Wingardium Leviosa

This is our Platform 9 and 3/4 that was the entrance to the party

In Divination we pinned the Lightning Scar on Harry Potter, played Mad Libs and read tea leaves

We had a really cool Potions Class where we made 3 potions:

Draught of Living Death

Veritaserum

and Exploding Potion

For Defense Against the Dark Arts we piñata killed a Dementor

And we finished games off by playing a game of Quidditch - then we watched movie number 3

 

Sophie’s Birthday Party

Sophie's 8th Birthday Party turned out to be a blast!

We had a mermaid theme and all dance friends this time.

We started out decorating Mermaid Tiara's and going fishing for Jelly Beans and getting Mermaid Names.

Then we did a super fun obstacle course, pin the tail on the mermaid, and let the girls swim for a bit. The water was cold so not everyone lasted swimming. Then we had cake and mermaid water, opened presents, had a pinata, limbo, and epic water balloon fight:) 

Sure looked like everyone had a blast:)

 

First Day of School

First Day of School! Looks a little different this year.

Jack handsome as ever going to 8th grade at Maeser. Twice a week in person twice a week at home and Friday's off. Wearing masks 100% of the time at school.

Annabelle's first day of 5th grade! Homeschooling this year with the Good and the Beautiful program, so far we love it:)

Sophie first day of 3rd grade, also homeschooling this year, also loving it so far:)
