Great Spring Hike

18 months and Skiing

 Sophie turned 18 months, and finally weighs 18 pounds! Tiny little thing! She loves to do everything just like her big sis (and Annabelle loves this!) Here they are singing in the park together:)

Jack and I went skiing one more time for this year.  So fun spending some time just with my boy, he's getting so good at skiing, too! And super fast!

Ducks, Bikes, and Good Old Fun

I took the kids to feed the ducks today, it was so much fun! I am loving this warm spring weather we are having! I got home from yoga and Annabelle was all dressed, helmet on, backpack packed, soccer shoes ready, and ready to go for a bike ride to the ducks, it was awesome! I love how she has come to love playing outside this last little while!

 It was Sophie's first time feeding 'ducks' I don't think she actually gave any bread to the ducks:)

 We took Alayna with us, and it was so much fun, I loved how they were all having a blast the whole time!

 Look mom! There's these weird birds in the water that keep quaking and are pretty big!

 Alayna found this next of geese eggs, it was way cool! Then Annabelle found 2 more eggs on the trail, ready to be stepped on or run over by a bike, so we added them to this nest, don't know if they are ducks or geese:)

 The puppy was so worn out! He kept falling off of Sophie's lap, so I put him in the stroller hood where he fell asleep:)

Meet Indy

 

 Meet Indy, we just got him on Wednesday, February 26th, he's an adorable 6 week old Brittany Spaniel who is totally melting our hearts! The kids adore him, although sometimes the puppy nipping is quite sharp! We love playing around with him and chasing him everywhere.

 He's trying to get a drink of water, but the bowl is so big he had to get into the whole thing:) Sophie wanted to share her cereal in his puppy chow, then decided maybe she should take it back:)

 Proud Daddy! Remember in Lady and the Tramp when Lady first tries to climb up the stairs and keeps falling down? That's so him! It's the cutest thing!

 The kids have been great! Jack is taking to training him, teaching him how to wear a collar, leash, follow outside and an obstacle course like in Marley the Puppy Years is soon to follow:)

Annabelle has taken to all feeding, and loves to have him chase her in the backyard, he just really needs to lay off of Bunny:)

 I know there's no puppy here, but look at that cheese ball!

 They were cuddling really cute right before I got the camera.  Another dog in the neighbor hood was barking and he was terrified, trying to hide in Sophie's then my lap

 This is the first night home, puppy was so exhausted he'd just follow Jack around and sleep next to him where ever he'd go:)
